PLC Automation Systems

Hybrid Electrical introduces its Hybrid Control PLC system.

Our integrated alarms and monitoring system can be configured to control and monitor all aspects of sailing and motor yachts. Our customised high definition touch screens are marine type approved, and can be configured to communicate with most modern network protocols. All of our systems can be enabled with remote access, offering secure logging and maintenance access worldwide. 

Our PLC and HMI software can be configured to integrate with all vessel systems by harvesting data over Modbus TCP and Ethernet. This is useful for total vessel access to generators, main engines, stabilisers and other critical system plant. 

We utilise a primary and backup CPU system, with automatic changeover options of 50mS and 300mS. Our network ring, using MRP (Media Redundancy Protocol) offers full redundancy for all devices on the network.

Hybrid Control PLC System

  • Active alarm handling and alarm log access 

  • Power trend logging 

  • Configurable alarm points for systems such as tanks and batteries 

  • Screen brightness control 

  • PLC network monitoring 

  • Compatible with most network protocols (Ethernet IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, CAN)

  • Expandable remote IO
